Google Turns Google Maps into a Pac-Man Game for April Fool’s Day

Just for today, Google Maps has made it possible for users to play Pac-Man in various locations around the world! This is, according to Mashable, part of Google’s barrage of April fool’s prank.

If you are accessing Google Maps on your desktop, you can play it in any locations around the world. If you are using the mobile app, you are limited to (so far) 15 locations around the world. To make things more fun, instead of stating the locations outright, Google has released a series of clues for users to solve. You can check out Google Maps’ support page for a list of clues to guide you to the best locations to play Pac-Man on your app.

For those who aren’t into puzzles, Mashable has gone ahead and solved some of the clues for you. What’s cool is that Malaysia’s very own Batu Caves is one of the secret locations!

So, if you want to turn any city into a pixelated, classic arcade game with colourful ghosts and iconic music, visit Google Maps on your desktop and click on the icon on the lower left of the screen to begin playing.
