Marlborough College In Iskandar Malaysia’s Educity

The construction of Marlborough College, a leading independent boarding school from the UK, in Iskandar Malaysia is 80% complete, and ready to open its doors in August this year.

The college will hold an Open Day for students and parents on April 28 2012, and will officially open its doors to its first batch of students on August 27 2012.

The prestigious college will have an initial intake of 250-300 pupils and will grow its intake to around 1300 pupils by 2018. Targeted applicants are local and expatriate children in Malaysia, Singapore and other parts of the region.

Robert Pick, Master of Marlborough College Malaysia, said, “With this campus in Iskandar, Marlborough College will be establishing a long-term presence in Malaysia. We look forward to both sharing our best practices and learning from institutions in Malaysia and the region. “

Marlborough College Malaysia will be part of EduCity in Iskandar, which also includes tertiary institutions such as Newcastle University and NMIT.
