The Expat Group (TEG) has been reaching the International community for over 16 years through its various monthly, bi-monthly and annual publications. And there’s more to come!
Recently, the TEG released a brand new magazine, Penang International. As the name suggest, the content for the new magazine is all about Penang. It highlights the very best that Penang has to offer, – places to visit, the people, the culture, the food and heritage – therefore, it is the perfect guide for residents and visitors.
The first edition of the Penang International (April-May 2012) highlights the St Patrick’s Day Celebrations, a local photographer Howard Tan (whose stunning picture of a street Chinese Opera actor is the publication’s first cover), expats living in Penang, heritage properties that have been preserved, and is now open as cultural accommodations and more.
The bi-monthly magazine targets expats, and affluent local and foreign tourists. In addition to catering to the Penang expat subscribers, the magazine is also available in rooms of four and five star hotels, selected restaurants and retail outlets around Penang.
