A great turnout of expats enjoyed a special evening at our recent Expat Wine Dinner, as it was held high atop the First Avenue building in Bandar Utama. From this lofty vantage point, diners were treated to city views in all directions, and of course, they enjoyed a nice dinner while taking in the scenery.

Argentinian wines were featured at the dinner, with the starter of delicious wild mushroom soup accompanied by a lovely Santa Ana Reserve Chardonnay from Mendoza, followed by a well-received smoked duck salad. Diners had a choice of mains, and were able to opt for chicken roulade, grilled salmon, or spaghetti marinara. Two wines were served with this course, a Terrazos Malbec and a Las Mascota Chardonnay, both also from the Mendoza region of Argentina. The dessert course featured a smooth chocolate mousse. Guests commented on the great ambiance and generous portions served and a good time was had by all. Thanks to those who joined us for this great wine dinner!
