Straits International School (SIS) travelled to Uplands on 20th February to compete in a tee ball and football competition organised by St Christopher International Primary School (SCIPS).

To kick things off, the U10 mixed tee ball team competed in their very first competitive game against SCIPS B. The match finished 15-10 in favour of SCIPS B after some confusion when fielding by the newly formed Straits team.

In the second match, Straits played against Dalat and won a thrilling game 8-5. Everyone enjoyed playing and the team are hopeful of some friendly games against SCIPS in the near future.

In the U10 football competition, Straits came top of their group after winning all games and conceding no goals in the process. Straits beat Uplands B (2-0), Tenby (2-0), and SCIPS B (3-0).

The U11 team also performed well and finished in second place without losing any games. They drew with a mixed team (0-0) and Tenby (2-2). In their last game, Straits finally got the win that they were after by beating SCIPS B (3-1) in an exciting encounter.
