A team of Year 10 students from The British School of Kuala Lumpur took part in Bentley’s ‘Be Extraordinary’ competition. Beom Ho Kim, Olivia Ho Thung, Chin Ho Kua, Rachen Chan Yen Jing, and Ahrim Lee were shortlisted to take part in the finals of the competition: to design a Bentley for the future. ‘Team πrates’, named after the Latin for ‘new’, impressed the panel made up of esteemed members of the British High Commission and Bentley on Friday 24th June, by presenting a concept for a new V8 carbon fiber model with heightened security features. The team then went on to present their concept to His Royal Highness Prince Andrew on Monday 27th June, who commended them on their impressive presentation.

Team πrates finished in the top four, with the judges commenting on the wonderful vision that the marketing showed, the remarkable way in which they connected with the customer, and the futuristic nature of the project.
