School Snaps: Sunway student earns distinguished prize

Sunway International School’s Grade 11 student, Rachel Lim June Leen, was named the winner of the Harvard Prize Book Award 2016. She is amongst the four winners chosen after a stringent selection process by the panel of judges from the Harvard Club of Malaysia. Rachel has consistently proven her track record for her academic achievement with an average of 90%, and also demonstrated exceptional contribution and engagement in community service.

Since 1910, the prestigious Harvard University has been awarding the Harvard Prize Book to outstanding students worldwide in recognition of their achievements. The students were assessed based on an interview covering social, intellectual and ethical aspects. Owned and governed by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation, SIS is the only school in Malaysia offering the Ontario (Canada) curriculum.
