This article is brought to you in part by Cold Storage Malaysia.
Since launching its Malaysian operations in 1963, Cold Storage has become a trusted name in providing fresh produce and top quality local and imported products to Malaysian residents. With 15 outlets across the country, Cold Storage continues to strive to be a one-stop centre for its patrons as the brand continually innovates with a wide range of unique products and to inspire their patrons to make healthy food choices for the family.
This year, Cold Storage is taking their commitment to healthy living one step further with their inaugural Kids Grow & Glow Run. The first event of its kind in Malaysia, the Kids Grow & Glow Run is a fun run for children and their families with the aim of increasing awareness on the importance of eating and living better. The run will feature the different stages of growth, taking participants on a trail of experiential learning of life’s evolutionary process from childhood to becoming a healthy adult.
As ‘the fresh produce people,’ Cold Storage wants to impress upon the public, particularly children, the importance of adequate nutrition and an active lifestyle, and what better way to do that than with an educational fun run. With this run, Cold Storage hopes to encourage parents and children to make healthier choices.
The run will kick off at Central Park Bandar Utama on 16th September at 7am to 11am. The 1km race will take participants through multiple obstacles like a balance beam and inflatable pyramid to reach the finish line. To really drive the important of nutrition and healthy food in a child’s development, race day will also be filled with fun things for the entire family like clowns, stilt walkers, and balloon sculptures.
As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, Cold Storage Malaysia is also inviting 40 underprivileged children from Rumah Juara Petaling Jaya to join in the fun while a portion of the total run registration collection fees will be channeled to Rumah Juara PJ on the day.
To take part in this experiential fun run and move towards living a healthier life, register now for RM40 per person at www.coldstorage.com.my.
