The Expat Mingle at Vogue The Club

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Vogue Club in Mont Kiara had a real moment in the spotlight as the venue for the September ExpatMingle, and with nearly 100 guests arriving to spend their evening at this trendy club, it was a great chance for this new outlet to show our minglers a good time. And they didn’t disappoint; tasty bar snacks flowed from the kitchen, with traditional classics being given a modern twist and devoured happily by the many guests that were working their way around the room, getting to know the new faces and seeking out their old chums. Conversations were lubricated by pints of Guinness Stout from GAB, while glasses of four different varities of wine – Purple Bramble, Golden Delicious, Cronier Sauvignon Blanc, and Cronier Rose – were on hand courtesy of Cronier Wines.

With such a large crowd, it was appropriate that the lucky draw was one of the most extensive in months, with the grand prize of two return flights to Jakarta courtesy of Firefly being as sought after as the 3D/2N stay at Anahata Villa, Ubud Bali for up to 6 persons. Other fabulous prizes on offer included RM200 F&B vouchers, Platinum movie passes, Berjaya theme park tickets, RM100 spa voucher for the London Orchid, 3 bottles of wine, and a big bottle of Sake courtesy of Vogue; what a night!

For those who didn’t manage to get their hands on a prize, there were goodie bags stuffed with Austrian crackers and German breads courtesy of Rolands to cheer their spirits. As always, though, it wasn’t about the freebies or the alcohol, it was about meeting people, chilling out with friends, and leaving the stress of work and traffic jams behind for a precious few hours.
