Poets and poetry lovers, it is our third birthday! We also welcome you to our 50th show! Come celebrate with us.

FEATURED ACTS:

LIM SWEE TIN is a well known Malaysian poet who has been writing since 1970, Lim won a prestigoeous award as S. E. A. Write Award in Bangkok (year 2000). Dalam bidang kreatis, Lim memenangi pelbagai hadiah sastera, antaranya Hadiah Sastera Perdana Malaysia (1982/83, 1984/85, 1988/89 dan 2003/04), Hadiah Penghargaan Anugerah Puisiputra 2 melalui kumpulan puisi ‘Akrab’ published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka 1985), then by ITBM (2010) entitle ‘Bonds’ a Malay-English version, and later Malay-Thai version (2015). Lim’s work translated into English, Rusia, German, Jepun, Korea, China, Portugal, Macedonia, Tamil ets. Beside poem, Lim write novel, short stories, essay serta banyak membentangkan kertas kerja seminar di dalam dan luar negara.
Beliau juga seorang deklamator puisi yang terkenal, dan dianggap antara yang terbaik di Malaysia, represent Malaysia in London, Bangkok, Taipei, Beijing, Brunei, Singapura, and Indonesia. Lim now have writen 85 books, beside 150 more anthologies. His latest poem collection was ‘The Moon admist the Coggonggrass’, (ITBM, 2013), ‘Dreams in Patagonia’ (ITBM, 2016), and a poem collection ‘Mencanangkan Mimpi’, (UMK Press, 2016). His upcoming books are ‘Menora: Seni Warisan Etnik Siam’ (UUM Press, 2018),

RUSSELL CURTIS is certainly no stranger to the Malaysian music industry. Being a avourite among affluent clients, his experience has taken him past the shores of Malaysia to perform in London,
Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and various cities in the USA
including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and even Las
Vegas. His most recent international performance took him
to Japan as the only Malaysian to perform for the Kansai
Music Conference 2017.

1. Look for ENOTECA at Plaza Damansara. On the right side of the restaurant, you will see a stairwell, a Blue Light will be projected on the floor. Walk up the stairs, you will see Blue Elephant, keep walking upstairs, you will hear 60s music, you are close so keep walking up and you’ll see a huge banner saying GASLIGHT cafe. That would be the one.

2. Try WAZE or Google Maps to Gaslight Cafe.
