BMW Group Malaysia Welcomes New President

BMW Group Malaysia has a new President, Dr Gerhard Pils, who will be replacing Geoffrey Briscoe.

Briscoe has been leading the group for four years. According to the Sun Daily, he has been promoted to a new position within the BMW Group.

Dr Pils joined the BMW Group in 1986 at the BMW engine plant in Steyr, Upper Austria. He also spearheaded BMW South Korea for three years before taking on the responsibility of the BMW subsidiary in Vienna from 1998 to 2002.

Before this, Dr Pils served as CEO of BMW Group in Austria.
