To boost property development in China and Malaysia, property developers have come up with a new approach; buy a house in China and get one for free in Malaysia, The Star Malaysia reports.

The catch is that buyers will have to purchase a RM10million residence in China to get a free house in Malaysia valued at RM500, 000.

Once you receive your new house in Malaysia, local property developers will maintain and rent out the property while helping buyers to apply for the Malaysia My Second Home Programme.

Property developers in China would purchase a large number of properties in Malaysia, which they give away as “gifts” to customers who spend between RM10 million and RM20 million on houses.
