Those planning on travelling to the East Coast between 10-18 August via train will have to find other alternatives, as tickets are already sold out.
Tickets for routes from Kuala Lumpur to Tumpat (Kelantan) and Singapore (Woodlands) to Tumpat are sold out.
Tickets for routes to Kuala Lumpur from Tumpat between 23-26 August are also sold out. But travellers can still purchase tickets from Tumpat to Singapore between 23-26 August.
This is due to those travelling back to their hometowns for Hari Raya. To ensure complete safety during this peak period, KTM will set up a special team to ensure the railway tracks are in good condition, as well as station auxiliary policemen in train coaches to all destinations.
