Earlier this month, KLM was presented with the Foreign Airline of the Year award in the Europe sector at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Awards. The airline was honored for the growth in their 2011 passenger movements.
KLM also won the European Award for Best Service on the ground and in the Cabin. “KLM personnel play a crucial part in the service KLM provides. They have personal contact with our customers, which is greatly appreciated by passengers in these difficult times. They have an important influence on the passenger’s experience of a memorable journey,” said Peter Hartman, President and CEO of KLM.
