Delightful Cantonese Cuisine on Malaysia Airlines

Malaysia Airlines has teamed up with Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur in the cuisine department. Passengers on the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan flights can now enjoy authentic Cantonese cuisine inflight.

The new inflight menu, with five dishes and dessert, will be available for the month of November on the national carrier’s routes between Malaysia and the orient destinations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Three new main dishes are offered in Business Class, while two are offered in Economy Class.
 
Among the newly introduced dishes, signatures of Lai Po Heen that are featured in the inflight promotion include:  

•    Cantonese Style Sautéed Prawns with Mushroom
•    Smoked Duck Breast with Marinated Jelly Fish
•    Steamed Cod Fish with Superior Soya Sauce
•    Tea Leaf Smoked Chicken
•    Green Tea Bavarois dessert

Malaysia Airlines currently operates double daily direct services from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing (14x), Shanghai (14x), Hong Kong (14x) and daily services to Guangzhou (7x), Taipei (7x) and thrice weekly services to Kunming and Xiamen.
