Jackie Chan, the world’s favourite action superstar, was recently in Kuala Lumpur to promote his new film, CZ12. This new film is also Chan’s 101th film.

The 58 year old action star arrived in Kuala Lumpur together with cast members, Zhang Lanxin and Yao Xintong.

Chan, who has his very own handprint on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, attended a press conference for the media, and a gala premiere at the main entrance of Berjaya Times Square.

In CZ12, Jackie Chan is hired to track down 6 bronze heads of the animals from the Chinese zodiac. Believed to have been stolen by European armies in the 19th century, the six bronzed heads originally formed part of a set of twelve sculptures, which formed part of a fountain in the old Summer Palace outside of Beijing.

It was reported by the New Straits Times that CZ12 took seven years to make. The budget for the movie was US$50 million. The movie premieres in Malaysia on 20 December 2012.
