“The Place Beyond the Pines” is an upcoming crime drama film directed by Derek Cianfrance.

It is the multi-generational story of a motorcycle stunt rider, who considers robbing a bank in order to provide for his new-born child; an act that puts him on a collision course with a cop-turned-politician.
