Starting from today, there will be an increase in the prices of all cigarette brands under the British American Tobacco Malaysia (BAT Malaysia).
The new price for Dunhill, Kent and Benson & Hedges cigarettes are set at RM10.50, while new prices for Peter Stuyvesant and Pall Mall will now be RM9 each.
For Pall Mall plain, Lucky Strike and Rothmans International, the prices are now RM10.90 each.
According to Datuk William Toh, Managing Director for BAT Malaysia, the company’s operating costs had risen as it was facing inflationary pressures, labour and input costs.
