Mrs. Malaysia Universe, Carol Lee, has won the Mrs. Universe International pageant. The 39 year old is the first Malaysian to win the title, and she received her crown at the finals of the pageant held in the Caribbean recently.
In Malaysia, Carol Lee is a talk show host and former news presenter. She beat 32 other contestants worldwide for the crown, by securing more than 88,000 votes from her fans. As for subsidiary titles, Lee won the Mrs. Popularity title.
The Mrs. Universe title is a recognition of “the most honorable married woman” taking into account family, career and involvement in a significant cause in favor of others. The title is awarded to women aged between 25 and 45.
