iPhone 5S and 5C to Arrive in Malaysia on Friday, 1 November

iPhone 5CApple has finally announced that the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be officially released in Malaysia on Friday, 1 November 2013.

Apple is actually launching the new iPhone into quite a few markets. On Friday, 25 October, 2013, the iPhone will be released in 35 new countries, including Russia, Spain, and Italy. On Friday, 1 November 2013, the iPhone will be released to an additional 16 countries, such as Malaysia, India, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.

Apple and the Malaysian telcos still have not indicated the new iPhone prices for the Malaysian market. Lazada is currently selling the new iPhones in Malaysia but they are priced at significant premiums.

I’m doubtful I’ll upgrade my iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5s. My iPhone 4S still works well and the new OS works great on it. I’ll be keen to know a lot more about the new iPads debuting on 22 October.
