Swedish duo Icona Pop will be performing in Kuala Lumpur next week, on the 29th of November.
The girls first hit international recognition when their hit single “I Love It” (I crashed my car into the bridge, I don’t care! I love it!) was released.
Icona Pop, or Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt, are famous for their catchy lyrics and upbeat tunes. The girls met at a Stockholm dance-a-thon and became instant friends.
Icona Pop’s single, “I Love It” was released from their debut album, This Is…Icona Pop. Prior to that, the girls released their EP Nights Like This. The album was ranked as 2011’s most promising debut by Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, among others.
Come 29 November, Icona Pop will perform at the popular Club Neverland in Kuala Lumpur, for a one-night only showcase.
