Ethan, an introverted boy whose family recently moved into a new house with a dark past begins a sexual relationship with the girl next door (Liana Liberato). As they begin to explore their sexual awakening, the two unwittingly invoke an alternative dimension of the house. Jacki Weaver a former resident of the house who has suffered a terrible family tragedy, whom the two lovers meet in their attempt to find out more about the house’s dark past, then comes into play.
