The plan to make the Greater KL area one of the most liveable cities in the world is apparently on target, according to Minister of the Federal Territories, Dato’ Seri Tengku Adnan. The Greater Kl/Klang Valley Plan is a key part of the Government’s Economic Transformation Programme and contains very specific targets for a number of separate initiatives which together form the overall plan.

This Plan includes the Invest KL and Talent Corp initiatives, which we write about quite regularly. It also encompasses the planned KL-Singapore High Speed Rail, which is undergoing a major feasibility study, the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project which is well underway, and the River of Life plan, to upgrade, clean and beautify the River Klang and the area around it.
