It was another fun Expat Mingle in the city, this time at the elegant Bentley’s Pub at the posh InterContinental Hotel near KLCC. The dark woods, leather chairs, and old-school English pub atmosphere all contributed to a perfect ambiance for the event. There was a great turnout of expats on hand, too, all keen to enjoy the wine, beer, food, and of course each other’s company. Cold Anchor beer was provided courtesy of GAB, and a nice selection of red and white wines were on hand, too. Bentley’s furnished a lovely procession of canapés, including smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers, baked brie with grapes, baked cod with a tomato and basil sauce, and pistachio pavé.
And it wasn’t all just food and beer! Lucky draw prizes claimed by winners that night included a variety of F&B vouchers, including some from the InterContinental’s array of excellent dining outlets, massage and facial vouchers from Pialla Wellness, a bottle of OUD perfume from Penang-based perfumer Josh Lee, and more.
A great venue with good food, free-flow cold beer, sparkling conversation, and plenty of enjoyment – another terrific Expat Mingle!
