Malacca Expatriate School (MES)celebrated its 35th anniversary by staging a 70-minute musical entitled “Out of this World’. The one-night only show showcased the primary students’ hidden talents in the performing arts. The capacity audience was utterly captivated by the 40-member cast, whose ages ranged from 5 to 12 years, who showcased their acting, singing, and dancing skills as well as the futuristic backdrops, props, and costumes. MES principal Ms. Susheila Samuel said they want their students to become confident individuals and music is an important aspect of the curriculum.
