For 14 years, Urbanscapes has been one of the most popular creative arts festivals in Malaysia, bringing together performers, artists, and art lovers for a full day of music, arts, and fun. This year is surely to follow suit. Urbanscapes has announced their first act for the year, which is Australian rock band, Tame Impala, who have graced massive events like Glastonbury, Coachella and Laneway in the past.

The band, consisting of Kevin Par Coeur (guitar / bass / drums), Sing Jay Watson (keys), Dominic Simper (guitar / synth), Cam Avery (bass) and Julien Barbagallo (drums), debuted in 2008 with a self-titled EP.

Since then, they’ve released three studio albums, including their latest album, Currents, which won Best Album at the West Australian Music Awards in 2015 and has been nominated for the Grammy 2016 Best Alternative Music Album. Their first single from Currents, Let It Happen, has garnered over five million views on Youtube. Watch it below:
