Sri KDU International School (SKIS) celebrated World Book Day on 2nd – 4th March 2016 as part of its effort to inculcate a reading habit among students. The school hosted a few events to mark this special occasion. Kuching-born graphic artist and writer Jian Goh shared anecdotes from his maiden book ‘Once Upon a Miao’ during a presentation with the students.

He shared stories, ideas and life experiences growing up in his hometown, which became the underlying concept for his book. Some students were also dressed as their favourite book characters on Mufti Day. It was an incredibly fun-filled event as they learned more about the character, designs and styles of each other’s costumes.
