British glam-rock band The Darkness and local act Oh Chentaku will be joining Scorpions, Wolfmother, Wings, Alleycats and Zainal Abidin on October 29 and 30 at Rockaway Malaysia MotoGP Weekend, the Livescape Group have announced.
Also playing will be the 11 Piece Book of Spells Orchestra and Deja Voodoo Spells feat. Bumblefoot at the two-day event held at Sepang International Circuit. Ron ‘ Bumblefoot’ Thal was one of the two lead guitarists for Guns N’ Roses and is an award winning multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and producer.
The the Rockaway Malaysia MotoGP Weekend will be held at the B Hillstand at Sepang International Circuit that overlooks turns 13 to 14 of the track. This allows concert-goers to also watch the MotoGP race from the Rockaway Arena.
