Check out the new Music Brunch series at Bricks & Barrels, launching with Dave Dobbyn

The new Go-with-the-flow Music Brunch series will begin on Saturday, 12 November, with Kiwi legend Dave Dobbyn headlining the event at Bricks & Barrels, which begins at 12.30pm for three hours.

Designed to reflect a dreamy summer afternoon of food, drink and entertainment, the brunch will be an easygoing affair in the venue’s breezy beer garden.

The event is family-friendly, with dedicated childcare facilities, healthy snacks and entertainment for kids under 12, allowing parents to kick back and enjoy quality live bands during the course of a the show.

KL’s first music brunch fits perfectly with Dave Dobbyn’s unique brand of Kiwi melodies and lyrics. The Auckland musician comes to Malaysia with a full band at the end of a successful world tour.

New Zealanders will need no introduction to Dave Dobbyn, who is the country’s most celebrated singer-songwriter with a career that dates back to 1975. For many Kiwis, his guitar-led music provides a beloved soundtrack to their lives. Appearing first, at 1:30pm, will be Jesse Sheehan, an accomplished young Kiwi musician whose debut album has been produced by Neil Finn of Crowded House.
