Just recently at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Nokia relaunched their iconic 3310 phone along with three smartphones – the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6. The Finnish communications company was a giant in the mobile phone world before Samsung and Apple stormed in, but Nokia was among the first few brands that engineered the cell phone revolution.

Since the Nokia 3310 – still one of the most popular phones of all time – has been resurrected and upgraded, we decided to take a look back at the evolution of mobile phone technology throughout the years to see just how far we’ve come in terms of cellular technology.
