The International School of Penang (Uplands) was delighted to have the opportunity to take part in the FOBISIA International Design & Technology Competition hosted by Regents International School Pattaya. Teams of students competed to solve a design challenge based on a real life scenario. This is the first time Uplands has entered the competition and the students are to be congratulated for achieving 2nd Place. The competition judge noted that “Students considered the wider picture by considering the real life implementation of your concept; this was highly evident in your investigation work.” Uplands students were rated highly on their Project Process, Concept, and Outcome.
