It can sometimes get a little frustrating thinking about having to pay bills or logging onto a website to get information. As an expat, it may be difficult for you to find the relevant information to get connected to authorities. Well, we’ve narrowed down some pretty useful apps that would make your trip around Klang Valley easier and hopefully, optimally saves your time and effort!

The app is pretty straightforward and easy to use – after downloading, register your car number plate, then select a location, put in the duration you would be parking for, and you’re done! So far, the service is available for areas covered under KL City Hall (DBKL), Tawau Municipal Council (Sabah), Iskandar Puteri City Council (Johor), and Cybersquare (Cyberjaya).

SmartSelangor Parking

Similar to JomParking, this app is for parking areas within Selangor. This easy-to-use app also allows you to pay any compounds received by the council. Signing up is simple and fast, and you may top up in-app, using less paper and saving more trees!

This is the official app of Syabas (Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor), the Selangor water utility company and through the app, consumers can use it to get information on water disrupted areas as well as lodge a complaint within Selangor, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur. The app features a water disruption calendar, water rationing calendar, an e-complaint portal, as well as easy access to press releases from the company.
