Print Friendly, PDF & Email

This post is brought to you in part by the Independent Schools Show

On Thursday 22nd November, the British Boarding Schools Show will take place at The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The event is free of charge with online pre-registration via the website. This Show enables parents to meet a selection of the most prestigious British boarding schools without travelling thousands of miles. This unique event enables parents located outside the UK to explore the life-changing educational opportunities available at British schools in a single day and place.

At the event, parents make key introductions and speak one-on-one with the admissions directors and heads of top British boarding schools, as well as some of the leading educational experts from the UK. There is no better way to find out about entry requirements, explore scholarships and bursaries and to get answers to specific questions than to come to the show and speak to schools in person.

The quality of a British independent school education is globally recognised. The schools have state-of-the-art facilities, highly qualified teaching staff and extraordinary histories. Many of these schools are hundreds of years old and have educated the British elite for centuries. These schools continue to produce eminent world leaders, scientists, artists and business minds, and an incredible number of successful candidates to some of the world’s best universities. British boarding school alumni are recognised by universities and employers worldwide as mature, self-disciplined and high-achieving individuals.

The show in Kuala Lumpur this November will host a carefully curated selection of the UK’s top boarding schools: Ardingly College, Fettes College, Framlingham, Glenalmond College, Godolphin School, Kensington Park School, The King’s School Canterbury, Lancing College, Le Regent Crans Montana, Lord Wandsworth, Loretto School, Marlborough College, Merchiston Castle, Millfield School, Oundle, Stonar, Wells Cathedral and Woldingham School.

There is also a chance to hear from William Petty, Director of Bonas Macfarlane Education, London’s leading educational consultancy. Will has been featured in publications including The Times, The Economist and Tatler, and has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

The show began twelve years ago in London for British-based parents and is the largest event of its type in the world. Over the past decade, the British Boarding Schools Show has visited Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, Milan, Istanbul and Switzerland, helping tens of thousands of parents make informed choices about their children’s education.
