Live Like a Lord: Heritage House Celebrations

This post is brought to you by Heritage House Celebrations.

Great Britain has a rich and fascinating history. Every year, millions of people come to visit and view the many traces of history which are still visible today, like the Stonehenge which dates back some 5,000 years and the many Roman ruins going back 2,000 years. More recent additions that are equally appealing are the many Great Houses built hundreds of years ago for wealthy British citizens.

These houses represent the living history of Britain for over 500 years and are an essential part of the country in all its aspects whether political, cultural, or social, with many royal and historical connections. Today, they are working estates, combining modern best practice without compromising their unique heritage in any way. They are also homes to some of the finest private collections of objets d’art, porcelain, furniture of many periods, and unique works of art.

Heritage House Celebrations can arrange for you and your guests to stay at one of these homes and celebrate that very special occasion. It’s important to note that not all their venues have on-site accommodation, so do check in advance for bespoke arrangements. Whether you’re looking for a unique and prestigious venue for a wedding, important family birthday, wedding anniversary, graduation ceremony, or corporate event; consider celebrating it in style in Great Britain, where you’d be able to experience a piece of British history firsthand too.

It may seem like a daunting prospect to make all the necessary arrangements for the event but this is where Heritage House Celebrations comes in. They can make all the necessary arrangements from helping select a venue, to organising the details of the celebration, including a photographer or videographer, and right through to suggesting and arranging additional services to make the whole stay truly memorable.

The Great Houses

There is a large variety of venues available, with nearly 1,000 houses of all shapes, sizes, and facilities, across Great Britain. The following is just a small sample of what is available for you to celebrate your special occasion. These houses are steeped in British history and guaranteed to give you a remarkable, unforgettable experience. Heritage House Celebrations will be happy to assist you in choosing just the right venue to suit your budget and individual needs.

Heritage House Celebrations has been set up especially to assist people from outside Great Britain so they can enjoy a fantastic experience without worrying about the details and requirements. They can even provide guides with appropriate language fluency.

The Great Houses are all well maintained and equipped, while still retaining the traditional look and feel that make them so special. Many have art collections, antique furniture, and magnificent gardens which make them fascinating places to visit even outside of the celebratory event itself.

Heritage House Celebrations can also arrange plenty of additional activities to make the stay even more enjoyable. This could include shooting, hunting, fishing, golf, and other sporting activities; pleasure flights, ballooning, or even a shopping expedition.

As an indication of price, a one night stay for 20 people at a smaller country home including entertainment, food and beverage, and local transportation will cost around RM100,000. Larger homes and longer stays will significantly increase the charge but the memories of the celebrants and their guests will last a lifetime, and it’s hard to put a value on that.

Hever Castle is located in the village of Hever in Kent, near Edenbridge, 48 km south-east of London. This castle began as a country house built in the 13th century. From 1462 to 1539, it was the seat of the Boleyn family. Anne Boleyn, the second queen consort of King Henry VIII of England, spent her early youth there after her father, Thomas Boleyn, who was born there, inherited it in 1505. They hold jousting and archery events and have a championship golf course.
