AirAsia Doubles Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore

Starting on 10 November 2019, Air Asia has recently announced that they are increasing their services and seat capacity from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore with an additional daily flight on their wide-body Airbus A330 aircrafts.

AirAsia’s regional commercial head, Amanda Woo said, “We are very excited about the commencement of flight services using our fleet of wide-body aircraft Airbus A330 in response to the increased demand for Kuala Lumpur bound flights, all thanks to the constant support of our passengers. Ahead of the Visit Malaysia Year in 2020, we hope to be able to contribute and help to promote Malaysia tourism with our value fares. Guests can also look forward to trying out our award-winning premium flatbed and other perks at attractive prices.”

AirAsia’s SIN-KUL sector has recorded a steady 14% year-on-year increase having flown over 1 million passengers to date, with 24% being Singapore passport holders. With the rise of increased demand for seats on this particular sector, AirAsia has now added almost 400 extra seats per day with their wide-body A330 aircraft operations.
