More than 10,000 music fans packed the cool highlands of Genting for Heineken’s biggest night of the year, where Zedd, HYO, and a full deck of DJs delivered genre-bending sets and an unforgettable celebration of connection through music.
Heineken’s Refresh Your Music, Refresh Your Nights 2025 brought together well over 10,000 music lovers at Resorts World Awana, Genting Highlands, turning a cool highland night into a blazing celebration of sound, connection, and – of course – ice-cold Heineken.
From strangers to music soulmates, fans shared a night defined by genre-bending beats, dazzling visuals, and bold energy – all true to Heineken’s mission to spark real-life moments through music.

The party started strong with rising duo Beautiful Mistakes, whose smooth, genre-fluid set eased the crowd into a groove of sonic discovery. Their blend of house, twists, and texture encouraged fans to explore beyond their usual playlists.
Next, local favourites Jovynn and AnnJo brought fire to the decks with a back-to-back set that flowed effortlessly across pulsing techno, deep cuts, and surprise drops. As their beats built, so did the electricity on the floor – proving that music still holds unmatched power to unite.

By the time Blink hit the stage, the crowd was in full flight. Known for mixing throwback anthems with fresh beats, Blink’s big-room sound had fans from all corners raising their hands – Heineken in tow – moving together to every beat in a shared high.
In a bold twist, both Beautiful Mistakes and Blink handed the setlist over to the crowd at moments, letting fans vote in real time for the next genre drop – from EDM and house to rock or K-pop. This crowd-powered feature made the entire night feel like a two-way connection, in true Heineken Refresh fashion: bold, interactive, and rooted in discovery.

Then came HYO, whose K-pop credentials met electronic finesse for a uniquely captivating set. Opening with a live choir and nods to her Girls’ Generation days, her performance layered emotion with high-impact energy – setting the stage perfectly for the main event.
Zedd, the Grammy-winning headliner, capped the night with an explosive set that combined cinematic builds, razor-sharp drops, and a visual spectacle that turned the venue into a living light show.

From the first note to the final bass drop, the highlands pulsed with energy as fans danced in sync, strangers bonded, and the rhythm brought everyone together.
One standout scene? The Heineken Moment – a cascade of fireworks timed to the music, painting the sky and the crowd in a shimmering display of unity and sound.

“This marks our third year building Heineken’s music platform, and each year we’ve raised the bar,” said Shaun Lim, Marketing Manager – Premium, Heineken Malaysia Berhad. “Heineken Refresh is more than just a music event – it’s a celebration of discovery, from new genres to new friends. Whether it’s a spontaneous connection or an unexpected beat, we want fans to step into the unknown and share a refreshing moment together.”
From urban pop-ups to this highland finale, Heineken Refresh 2025 has once again redefined how people discover music – and each other.
