Some of Malaysia’s finest bars and bartenders are uniting behind a cause that goes well beyond the bar counter. The Angostura Charity Calendar 2026 is a heartfelt collaboration that celebrates the strength of the local cocktail scene while raising vital funds for PAWS Malaysia and its mission to give rescued animals a second chance at life.
Malaysia’s cocktail industry has matured into a close-knit, collaborative community, and the launch of the Angostura Charity Calendar 2026 is a timely reminder of just how much heart sits behind the talent. Unveiled by the House of Angostura in partnership with Single & Available, the calendar brings together leading bars, respected bartenders, and animal welfare advocates in support of PAWS Malaysia.

Following the positive response to its inaugural edition, the 2026 calendar builds on the same spirit of creativity and compassion. This year, photographer NZ Phang captured 13 bartenders and industry partners alongside rescued cats and dogs currently under the care of PAWS. Each image pairs personality with purpose, highlighting both the people shaping Malaysia’s modern bar culture and the animals patiently waiting for adoption.
Participating venues span a broad cross-section of the local scene, from established favourites to newer names that reflect the industry’s growing depth. Featured bars include Bar Mizukami, Pahit, Concubine, Bar None, Frank’s Bar, Up & Away, Rhubarb & Roses, JaoTim, The Riff District, Pickle Bar, Two Pour One, La Casa Del Habano, and Piccola. Together, they represent a community that has increasingly chosen collaboration over competition.

Beyond its visual appeal, the calendar is designed to deliver tangible impact. With a donation of RM80, supporters receive a charity calendar valued at RM1,080, featuring 26 exclusive vouchers – two for each month from December 2025 to December 2026. Each month includes one Angostura cocktail voucher redeemable at participating bars and one retail voucher from Single & Available. All proceeds go directly to PAWS Malaysia, helping to fund food, shelter, veterinary care, and adoption efforts.
For PAWS, the initiative provides both financial support and visibility. By placing rescued animals front and centre, the calendar also encourages conversations about adoption and responsible pet ownership, extending the project’s impact well beyond fundraising alone.

According to Single & Available’s Trade and Marketing Manager, Lini Pong, the project reflects a desire to give back on multiple levels. It supports the bartenders who have long championed Angostura behind the bar, while also contributing to a cause that resonates deeply across the hospitality community. The message is simple – every calendar sold makes a difference, and collective action can create meaningful change.
The calendar launch also coincides with the Malaysian introduction of the Angostura 200th Anniversary Bitters, a limited-edition release marking two centuries of the brand’s heritage. Crafted using Angostura aged rum alongside angelica root, Roman wormwood, and nutmeg, the bitters deliver a layered, aromatic profile that nods to tradition while inviting modern interpretation. Priced at RM163, the anniversary bitters are available through Single & Available’s Bangsar Shopping Centre outlet and its online store.

The Angostura Charity Calendar 2026 is available while stocks last at all participating bars and at Single & Available’s retail outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre. More than a keepsake, it stands as a reflection of how far Malaysia’s cocktail scene has come – not just in skill and recognition, but in its willingness to rally around a cause and give back to the wider community.
