Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman recently told the New Straits Times that foreigners who misuse student visas will face action, and this includes deportation.
“”We will act against foreigners already in the country who misuse student visas.” There have been many arrests, and many foreigners have been deported from time to time,” he said.
The minister also said that the action taken against visa offenders was taken in collaboration with the Higher Education Ministry.
