Malaysia Airlines has increases the number of flights to Yangon since last month. The airline has increased its frequency from Kuala Lumpur to Yangon from ten times a week to twice daily. MAS deploys a Boeing 737-800 for this route.
The airline also plans to increase flights to Auckland in November this year. The frequency is expected to increase from six flights a week to a daily service. For this route, MAS uses a Boeing B777-200.
Early last month, the airline announced the introduction of daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Kochi and the reinstatement of a five times weekly service to Darwin later this year. MAS has also resumed its daily Kuala Lumpur to Dubai service since early last month.
