Toll Rates Will Not Increase This Year

The Government has released a statement assuring Malaysians that the toll rate will not increase this year. Instead, the Government will pay RM400mil in compensation to toll concessionaires, as an initiative to help the public deal with the rising cost of living.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the Government will compensate the toll companies in order to help ease the burden of people living in Malaysia.
