Trailer for Movie on MH370 Showed at Cannes Film Festival

Indian film director Rupesh Paul is planning on making a movie on the events leading up to the disappearance of Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370.

The trailer for the movie, The Vanishing Act, was screened at the recent Cannes Film Festival, as a way to find investment for the making of the movie.

The Vanishing Act is a supposed adaption of the events leading up to the disappearance of Flight MH370. Apparently, the movie is based on a Malaysian journalist’s theory on what happened. The screenplay for the movie was written by Paul, who is also looking for an investment budget of USD3.5 million to produce the movie.

Although the movie is supposed to be an adaptation on the events leading up to the disappearance of Flight MH370,  associate director of The Vanishing Act, Sritama Dutta, says that the only similarity between the movie and MH370’s disappearance is that both involves a missing plane.
