On October 1, the luxury hospitality world converged on Crowne Plaza KLCC for the LUXE Global Awards Gala — a showcase of excellence, culture, and global recognition.
Kicking off the final quarter of 2025 in spectacular fashion, the 2025 LUXE Global Awards Gala was held on October 1 at Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The occasion gathered hoteliers, restaurateurs, and wellness innovators from across the world to celebrate outstanding achievements and lasting dedication to excellence.
As the host hotel this year, Crowne Plaza KLCC stepped into the role previously held by InterContinental Athénée Palace Bucharest and Amari Bangkok. Its team orchestrated an evening of sophistication for general managers, business owners, and industry leaders who arrived in Kuala Lumpur especially for the gala.
Among the renowned brands in attendance were Chiang Mai Marriott (Thailand), Fili Hotel NUSTAR Cebu (Philippines), Grand Copthorne Waterfront (Singapore), Grand Hyatt Barcelona (Spain), Iceland Parliament Hotel (Curio Collection by Hilton), Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai (Indonesia), Sheraton Hanoi (Vietnam), Tumbi Hotel Dubai (Tapestry Collection by Hilton), and others.
Master of Ceremonies Sofea Nur Solehha Tun presided over the event with poise and charisma, her international experience and presence setting the tone for an evening of prestige. In homage to Malaysia’s vibrant heritage, the gala featured local touches throughout — tropical fruit and plant-inspired centrepieces, a six-course menu, and cultural dance and live band performances. Local wine and spirit suppliers Asiaeuro Wines & Spirits and Wine Plug collaborated with the hotel to deliver a refined beverage experience.
The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, where winners from around the world were recognised for their vision, passion and commitment to unforgettable guest experiences. Winners took to the stage to share words of gratitude and reflection, reinforcing the global spirit of unity and excellence behind the LUXE Global Awards.

Along with serving as the host venue, Crowne Plaza KLCC also walked away with multiple awards, including Best Luxury Conference & Event Hotel in Asia, Best Luxury Contemporary Hotel Globally, and Best Luxury Hotel Restaurant in Southeast Asia.
“These awards hold special meaning for us, having been decided through three weeks of public voting in July, and celebrated at a gala we proudly co-hosted. They are the direct result of the service excellence and dedication of our entire team and stand as a remarkable testament to what we have achieved in just a year and a half since opening,” said Kuljit Singh, the hotel’s General Manager, upon acceptance.
The evening concluded with a toast to all winners and recognition for the many hotels, restaurants and spas worldwide that continue to raise the bar in luxury travel. As Kuala Lumpur’s glittering celebration drew to a close, LUXE Global already looked ahead to 2026, intent on continuing its mission to spotlight excellence across every corner of the hospitality world.
