Will Smith plays Nicky Spurgeon, a professional con-man who takes on Jess Barrett (Margot Robbie) under his wing. When the pair gets too close for comfort, Nicky ends their relationship only to discover that three years later when they bump into each other again, the student has far surpassed the teacher and they are targeting the same person – a billionaire international race car owner.
