Dior’s sun-kissed Dioriviera experience has arrived in Penang, transforming Macalister Mansion into a lush seasonal escape that radiates luxury and art de vivre. Running from June 13 to August 11, 2025, the immersive pop-up draws on the vibrant spirit of the Dioriviera collection, curated by Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, and reimagines the property’s outdoor spaces as a dreamlike retreat that’s both elegant and wildly imaginative.

Taking centre stage is an alfresco jungle garden filled with life-size sculptures – elephants, giraffes, tigers, and tropical flora crafted from bamboo and rattan. These striking figures bring to life the whimsical wildlife of Dior’s Toile de Jouy Sauvage and Toile de Jouy Palms prints, which feature prominently throughout the display and in the collection itself. Inside the boutique, guests can discover ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, footwear, and the now-iconic Dior Book Tote, rendered in bright, breezy hues perfect for high summer.

The pop-up also offers visitors the chance to lounge and linger. The terrace area is dotted with Toile de Jouy-print parasols, armchairs in vivid colours, and animal-shaped inflatables, offering an idyllic setting that perfectly captures the laid-back glamour of the Dioriviera lifestyle.

Completing the experience is Café Dior and its charming Café Bike, serving refreshments in a setting designed to extend the mood of a golden summer afternoon. Whether you’re shopping the latest collection or simply enjoying an iced coffee under a patterned parasol, the setting feels like a page torn from a Mediterranean escape – only with unmistakable Malaysian flair.
