Beautiful and intimate, this dance adaptation of Romeo and Juliet is choreographed by the Artistic Director of DPAC Dance Company, Wong Jyh Shyong, who breathes new life into one of the Bard’s classic love stories. It’s a tale of a chance meeting, love at first sight, the passion of teenagers, and old family feuds.

The dance features a talented cast, including Huang Weikai who is currently a student of University of Taipei, as Romeo, and first prize winner of the 19th Solo Classical Ballet Competition in 2016, Jessica Ng as Juliet, as well as 40 students from Malaysia’s Dance Space Academy.

This is the sixth full-length ballet performance of Dance Space after the great success of Giselle in 2015.
