What brought you to Malaysia and how long have you been here?
I came to Malaysia in 2006 to study and stayed, and now I have been here six years.

What were your impressions of Malaysia before you came? How have they changed, if indeed they have?
My first impressions of Malaysia were that it was a boring country and all the people were living a monotonous lifestyles. However, after living few years here, I realise that my first impressions were wrong. Having three major races (Chinese, Malay and Indian), Malaysia offers diverse cultures, food, and traditions, which I find very interesting. Furthermore, Malaysia is a fast developing country. I remember six years ago there were only few shopping malls, office districts and entertainment spots, but now, the number is doubled!

What are the three things you like most about living in Malaysia?
I like the food, the different culture, and, of course, the public holidays! Ha ha ha.

What three things do you wish you could change about Malaysia?
The public transportation, the social security system, and the damage to the environment.

How long do you think you will stay?
I am not sure exactly how long I will stay here, but it is gonna be a long time.

Name three typical weekend activities that you enjoy.
At the weekend, I like going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and just relaxing at home.

Are most of your friends Malaysians or expats? Why?
My friends are a mixture of people because I like to meet new people with different cultures and backgrounds.

What do you miss most about your home country?
I miss the food. Even though there is a lot of Indonesian food here now, I still feel that the taste is not as authentic as food in Indonesia.
