Four Wins 42,000 Sindbad Miles in Oman Air FFP Raffle

Oman Air has given away 42,000 air miles to each of four lucky members of its Sindbad frequent flier programme. The miles were offered as prizes in a members-only raffle which was launched on Oman Air’s Facebook page to celebrate the Sultanate of Oman’s 42nd National Day in November.

Weekly winners have been announced from November 25th, with each being able to redeem their 42,000 miles against flights to any point within Oman Air’s network of 42 exciting destinations. Participants were asked to ‘Like’ the page and register their entry, with winners being selected at random.

The lucky winners are Vesna Matic from Muscat, Raja Bhoganath Babu Pandranki from Abu Dhabi, Saeed Al Abri from Muscat and Jonathan Coffey from Muscat. Each of the winners can now use their miles to select a dream journey and, with a return flight from Muscat to London requiring 40,000 Sindbad Miles and Muscat to Bangkok return requiring 32,000 Sindbad Miles.

Membership of Sindbad is available in three tiers, Blue, Silver and Gold, with each offering discounts on Duty Free products, exclusive offers via the Sindbad newsletter and the opportunity to obtain additional Sindbad miles. Furthermore, Silver members are able to check in at Business Class counters, use Business Class airport lounges and benefit from an additional baggage allowance of 15kg.

In addition to the benefits available to Silver members, Gold members are able to use up to 20 kg of additional baggage allowance, can redeem miles to upgrade from Business Class to First Class, are guaranteed Economy Class seats on fully booked flights and are offered priority baggage handling. On becoming Gold members, customers are also offered two free vouchers entitling them to upgrade from Economy Class to Business Class.
