Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The hotel located at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport now has a new name. It has been rebranded, and is now known as the Sama-Sama KL International Airport Hotel. In Malay, “sama-sama” means “together” or “you are welcome”.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), the owner of the hotel, announced in November 2012 that it would take over the operations and management and, by 1 January 2013, the changeover would be complete.   MAHB is also refurbishing and rebranding the current airside transit hotel at the Main Terminal building to be known as Sama-Sama Express KL International Airport. When the klia2 terminal opens in May 2013, MAHB will operate Sama-Sama Express klia2, the transit hotel at the new terminal.

The Sama-Sama KLIA Hotel offers 442 guest rooms and suites, three restaurants, business facilities including complimentary wired and wireless Internet, 24-7 health club facilities, and extensive business meeting facilities. Sama-Sama KLIA also provides check-in services at the KLIA International Arrival Hall and a 24-hour complimentary buggy shuttle service to and from the hotel.

The airside Sama-Sama Express hotels at KLIA and klia2 provide transit passengers who have brief stopovers in KL with a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the airports.  The Sama-Sama Express rooms feature IPTV with video on demand, in-room safes, coffee and tea-making facilities, wired and wireless Internet facilities, IP telephones with access to IDD, comfortable beds and warm showers.

For transit passengers who just want to freshen up between flights, the hotels also offer paid shower facilities and a lounge offering food and beverages and business facilities.
