Istana Ampang Tinggi and Negeri Sembilan Model House Recognised as Heritage Buildings

Both the Istana Ampang Tinggi and the Negeri Sembilan model house at the State Museum in Seremban have been recognised as heritage buildings under the National Heritage Act 2005. The authenticities of both buildings were determined based on their age of over 100 years, and unique architectural features.

According to Bernama, a special recognition ceremony was held recently as a symbolic handover ceremony of the heritage plaques. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Department of National Heritage and the Negeri Sembilan Museum Board.

Previously, the Istana Lama Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah (which is now the Seri Menanti Royal Museum) and Sekolah Menengah King George V were also recognised as heritage buildings.
