Lonely Planet’s Top 10 List of Street Food Includes Penang

Penang is once again in the limelight for its delicious street food. This time, Georgetown was listed in Lonely Planet’s Top 10 Walking Tours for Globetrotting Foodies.

According to the article, going on a walking tour and sampling the local food is the best way to understand about a city’s cuisine.

The article goes on to say that the best Penang hawker food, which is a fusion of Malay, Chinese and Indian, can be found in Georgetown.

The places listed includes; Hanoi in Vietnam, Gastown in Vancouver, Brick Lane in London and more.
